The fire barrier sliding door shutting operator is used in places where shutting the door is necessary in the case of a fire. In a normal position the magnet inside the shutting operator holds the door open. In the case of a fire a smoke detector sends a signal to the shutting operator and releases the magnet, followed by the door shutting.
